You may not know this, but one of the ways Traction Control pays the bills is by running an FFL; this is his stock level from nine days before Election Day to 51+ days after:

One can only assume that his numbers are fairly representative of what transpired at other FFLs, accessory companies, and firearm-related stores across the country if one remembers what happened about that time four years ago.
And yet despite this panic-buy (and there really is no other word for it), I can find you no shortage of "gun control" extremists who firmly believe that widespread/total firearm bans/confiscations would not only be Constitutional, but actually something our government could hope to accomplish. Yes, because all of those people who just dropped millions of dollars (collectively) into those things you do no want them to own will be perfectly sanguine with simply turning them over to the government out of the goodness of their hearts.
Sure they will.
As always, neither "logic" nor "reason" are things anti-rights cultists are overly familiar with… which is how they picked up that descriptor after all.
